Delighted to be sharing this bridal inspiration shoot celebrating colour in all it’s forms.
This fashionable shoot is definitely for brides who want to avoid white on their wedding day and provides visual inspiration on how you can still elegantly blend several bold colours together without clashing! If you’re not a lover of pastel colours, this shoot is for you!
Put together by Plymouth based photographer Margo R Photography, this pop of delicious colour will leave you feeling uplifted this week. Inspired by people, Margo loves nothing more than capturing life’s moments, inspiring and representing others through her images.
Noticing the lack of wedding inspiration featuring black women – Margot and her talented team of suppliers, were keen to create a shoot that celebrated colour in all its glorious forms and they have done a delightful job and I can’t think of a better home for this delightful shoot.
Over to Margo for the details! Be inspired!
This inspiration behind this this shoot is a celebration of COLOUR
A wedding celebration really can be everything you want it to be and that doesn’t just have to be big white weddings.
Let’s talk about big white weddings … while they are absolutely stunning, they just aren’t for everyone. There are so many couples that struggle to plan their wedding because they just don’t see themselves or their preferred styles represented in the pages of the big magazines.
To me, your wedding can and should be a reflection of everything you love. How often do you get to throw the party of a lifetime and celebrate your love for each other? Make it all about you!
‘As a black woman who has previously planned a wedding it’s crazy to think that in 2018 we still don’t see many black and Asian models in mainstream wedding blogs. It’s so important to me to represent every type of person – We are all beautiful. When I heard Margot’s inspiration for the shoot I was totally on board. We chose our Eastern Glamour Collection which is a modern watercolour painted design with a touch of gold for added glamour” – Abi Asslet, Lead Stationery Designer from Dearly Beloved.’
For this shoot I was inspired by singer and sister of Beyonce Knowles, Solange and her beautiful photographs from her wedding day. I knew I wanted to use colourful jumpsuits from online store Frock the High Street to inspire brides who want something different, colourful and quirky. I wanted to create inspirations for modern couples that are relaxed yet glamorous, contemporary yet elegant, vibrant and above all else FUN.
