We are lucky to be completely and utterly spoilt for choice with luxury hotels in London. Around every corner of the trendiest and most affluent parts of town there is a luxury London hotel offering something for both traditional and contemporary couples who enjoy that five-star experience and want nothing more but to experience this standard on their wedding day.
Today we are joined by über talented creative wedding designer and very recent newlywed Jessica from Jessica Hay Creative.
Jessica knows London like the back of her hand so I asked her to introduce you to some of her favourite Luxury london hotel hot spots, for city chic weddings, with a focus on some hidden gems worth exploring that you might not have discovered yet.
Take it away Jess.
When we think of luxury London Hotels, we automatically think about The Savoy, The Ritz, The Dorchester, Claridges, and Mandarin Oriental. These are all the obvious and immediate considerations, which they certainly should be, however, there are some stunning luxury London venues that are well worth knowing that you might not have considered!
Wedding couples are continuing to look for something different for their wedding venue choices, something more bespoke that can be dressed into the most spectacular wedding space. I have put together some luxury London hot spots I believe are either hidden gems, new to the scene, that are continuing to glide their way up to the top of the staring ranks.
Just three and a half years old, Rosewood London is quickly becoming one of London’s hottest hotels for weddings and private events. Having won several awards both in 2016 and 2017 for best food and beverage, best London hotel and Trip adviser awards and many more.

London at Ten Trinity Square – A Four Seasons Hotel
Ten Trinity Square is the new kid on the block, but don’t take this for granted, this new venue was built by one of the most renowned hospitality names in the industry, The Four Seasons Hotels.
The latest 5* establishment in the heart of the City boast impressive views of Tower Bridge and Tower of London. This stunning hotel has been regenerated to introduce the City of London to modern and luxurious weddings, maintaining that 5* star standard that The Four Seasons are renowned and loved for. We are excited to see some incredible weddings and events at this breath-taking venue this year!
30 Pavilion Road
30 Pavilion Road is small gem hidden in the midst of luxurious Knightsbridge. Just a stones throw away from Harrods, this stunning classical venue boasts live fireplaces and intricate interiors.
30 Pavilion Road can host both your wedding ceremony and dinner all in one. With the benefit of having the house exclusively for your wedding day, it is built for completely exclusive, intimate and romantic affairs.
Not only having the entire house and roof terrace to yourselves, 30 Pavilion Road also provides you with full flexibility on decoration and styling. As a Wedding Designer, I know that this type of venue is rare; being able to create and decorate as you please is a huge bonus for a luxury wedding and every Wedding Designer and creative couples dreams to bring out it’s full opulent potential. Given its unique characteristics and classical charm, it is certainly one of London’s hidden gems.
Hampton Court House
Now Hampton Court House, I feel is understated, this is an absolutely stunning house for that beautiful elegant, yet rustic wedding. By weekday this venue is home to teaching and learning, yes, you read right, it is a school! But by weekend, this incredible venue transforms into a home for happy celebrations.
The reason I feel this venue is understated is that it is hiding a couple of small secret gems. One of which is the most spectacular shell encrusted grotto, perfect for the most eloquent photos of wedding couples, and to add to the romantic factor, Hampton Court House boasts the most wonderful heart-shaped lake. (Nu Bride: How lovely!)
Nestled in the London Borough of Richmond, this venue has everything from character, style, romance, elegance and opulence. Coupled with a creative array of floral designs, crystallised tableware and a handful of fun-loving guests, this has the making of a luxury venue.
Thank you so much Jessica!
Enjoy taking a moment to explore them all. They each offer something completely different. I have to say with its ridiculously chic rose gold interiors, attention to detail from staff, I will always have a soft spot for The Rosewood London!
