My first tip to creating gorgeous florals on a budget is to re-use your florals throughout your wedding day to save money.

For example; If you have chosen tall arrangements on your tables during your wedding ceremony, use them to adorn your ceremony too. We can use them on different vessels to make them look different. Then we can turn them around and re-use them in your reception space to give a totally different feel.

Half and Half

If you want tall luxury table arrangements but the budget can’t quite stretch. Go for half and half.  Half tall and half low table arrangements.

Low arrangements are more cost-effective, but you will still get that wow factor when you first walk in the room with a combination of the two. This is a great idea if you have large numbers to help keep on top of budget.

Silk V’s Real Flowers

Don’t knock it until you try it!

Using a mixture of silk flowers along with real flowers can save you money and make your arrangements look bigger and much fuller at a fraction of the price.

Our artificial flowers are hired which also reduces cost.

Top tips when mixing silk with real flowers, always use arrangements with lots of foliage so the artificial doesn’t’ ‘look’ artificial !

Use Linens

Dress up your tables by using stylish linens rather than just a standard white table-cloth.

You can be more savvy with your budget.

If your venue has nice chairs, then don’t use chair covers and spend that money on some stunning linen instead for an extra £15-20 – will be money better spent.  Dressing your table looks better with your overall scheme.

Using candles can set a nice ambience, artificial candles work in venues that aren’t candle friendly, like a grade two listed building for example! Very romantic and sets a great ambience.

Candles can also help to improve décor in other area’s, your decor budget doesn’t always have to be directed on the flowers if the budget is not there.

Choose flowers that look the business but are surprisingly good on purse strings

Hydrangea’s are more expensive than roses, but three times the size of roses so you need less of them.

Hydrangea’s are classed as a luxury flower. They are available 52 weeks of the year and come in a beautiful array of colours.

Don’t forget the foliage. Even more-so now Pantone green is the colour of 2017. I am big on foliage. They come is so many varieties and can be incorporated in a range of designs and are great at keeping costs down.
