Never one to conform, designer Ian Stuart has developed yet another unique and show-stopping collection for gorgeous women of every age & body shape. From Ian’s signature style for the bride who enjoys drama, to romantic and regal, for the bride who enjoys traditional elegance. This collection focuses on the art of bringing the true essence of couture, to the modern bride.
Feast your eyes on these beauties available in selected bridal boutiques from Mid September 2015 onwards!
This season, Ian has focused his energy on designing for different body shapes, ages and personalities. He has created a collection that is diverse and versatile, giving every bride the opportunity to find her own style within the Ian Stuart label.
Experimenting with softer fabrics and fluid silhouettes, Ian is bringing his unique flair and couture construction to a different spirit of bride he has not reached before. And as the unprecedented King of colour, he has introduced stunning softer shades of silver, pink and taupe, which he hopes will encourage the next generation of brides to embrace wearing colour on their wedding day.
There are four stand out themes this year within the Ian Stuart collection:
Ian Stuart Signature Style– textured, playful and dramatic
Sexy & Statuesque – figure hugging with plunging lines and dynamic silhouettes
Romantic and Regal – fairy tale ball gowns, exquisite laces and glittering touches
Fashionista glamour – modern, unconventional and daring
Feeling his new designs will excite buyers and have brides in a lustful frenzy, Ian promises an inspired fashion show that will have the audience remembering all the reasons why they fell in love with the fantasy of the wedding gown.
The honour of having ‘Flowerbomb’ included in the V&A Wedding dress exhibition inspired Ian to create a collection that would be fit for a museum.
The gowns showcased were almost all exclusively created for royalty, socialites, fashionistas and celebrities, who had access to the finest couturiers and top designers. Having started his career at one of London’s most renowned couture houses, Bellville Sassoon, Ian has revisited vintage sketches from his time there, studied the finer details of true couture, and combined it with his innovative style. Ian hopes to make the essence of real couture available to the modern bride.
