I have another delicious love story to share with you today.
Gorgeous bride Angela and Gorgeous Groom, Jide, both of British, Nigerian culture got married on the 5th October 2013. Angela and Jide celebrated their wedding at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in a truly beautiful and opulent setting captured by the equally beautiful Cristina Rossi Photography. With a rich red and gold palette, styled and planned by Temmy Odupitan of Pink Whistle Event

I proposed to Angela at 21:30 on the dot. 23rd Jan 2011 – after a night out at the movies, I proposed in clapham junction.
We chose a Hollywood Glamour in the Art Deco era, for our wedding theme, which was reflected in the style of our bridesmaids dresses and also in our wedding stationery.
We used Temmy Odupitan of Pink Whistle Events; as a result, all planning, preparations & the whole day was as smooth as clockwork
The funniest moment of our wedding day was when the MC invited each table to nominate a spokesperson to speak about us, pass words of wisdom & wish us well; as expected, it was just amazing to see so many guests literally become stand-up comedians.Wedding cake: ChoccyWoccyDooDah The stationery: Courtesy of Pink Whistle events
Our food was provided by The Millenium Gloucester Hotel and with an evening buffet courtesy of Pink Whistle events
MC – David Balogun
DJ – DJ Gabe
Singers – Otty Warman et al
What was your favourite moment of your wedding day?
Angela -The surprise musical duet sung by Otty warman (playing Jide) and Beatrice (playing me) charting our first meeting right through to our engagement.
Jide – Running around behind the scenes to ensure the suprise musical duet took off without a hitch, then pretending I’d forgotten my speech (about how we met) in order to introduce Otty & Beatrice’s performance.
Our first dance was such a lovely experience. We danced to Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon in the Sky” (Good choice Angela and Jide, good choice!)
