Hello lovely readers.
I have another beautiful submission to share with you today!
Beautiful newlyweds Charmaine and Dale got married on the 28th July 2012 (probably the only day of summer we had this year!) and held the reception at Tewin Bury Farm Nr Welwyn, Hertfordshire. This wedding is absolutely elegantly beautiful! A particular favourite touch of the day for me was the favours! Read on to enjoy!

I knew the second we drove into the grand entrance of this beautiful modern barn for a viewing that I would fall in love with the venue. Tewin bury Farm is a 17th century farmhouse with converted buildings in open space with idyllic scenery and a truly country feel in Hertfordshire. It was an ideal size to cater for our 113 sit down guests plus an extra 150 evening guests.
We were thoroughly looked after throughout the process and we were very impressed with the organisation and precise tailor-made planning that assisted our day.
My hair was skilfully done by Emma at Ceders Bushey and I opted for natural make-up which was done by Sofia
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
I spent a lot of time and effort looking for the perfect dress and although it’s very “cliché” I knew I had found the one when I put it on and had an overwhelming feeling of joy. I felt like a princess. My dress was from a stunning boutique shop called Kiss the Bride in Northwood.
Our Marriage was in a small Catholic Church in Bushey, which was delightful. We were blessed with a beautiful day ensuring we got the most stunning pictures.
Flowers were provided by Denise at My Flowers and were a mix of roses and white and orange Calla lily’s symbolising beauty, purity and innocence.
My bridesmaid dresses were also from Kiss the Bride in Northwood.
My husband Dale chose a fitted light grey suit from black designer Oswald Botang (Ooo – nice touch Dale!), keeping his look young and modern, with the ushers in a dark grey suits hired from Moss Boss.
As Dale and I both have parents from the Caribbean and both have a love for rums we choose to name the tables different rums of the Caribbean and provide each table with miniatures of the named table!
