She Said Yes…. Engagement Shoot

Lots of wedding photographers are offering engagement shoots for couples. Essentially an engagement shoot is a great chance for the bride and groom-to-be to get used to being in front of a camera well before their big day; especially useful for those who might feel camera-shy or self-conscious. A chance to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident with your wedding photographer.

It could also be a lovely idea to use some of the images from the engagement shoot to create your own personalised guest book, invites, thank you cards, order of service or to make other small personal touches to your wedding day. Aside from this, how often is it that we get to have a professional relaxed photo-shoot with our beaus? ;o)

Our photographer James of JK Photography has wonderful creativity and its such fun to watch him in action. I must stress that my fiancé, is NOT a fan of being in front of the camera by any stretch – so for James to get him to relax and smile… quite frankly I think he deserves an Oscar!

We decided to have our engagement shoot on the London Embankment; where Mr Nu Bride proposed so we could re-live the magic and have something for keepsake. It was a magical day, serene and calm along the embankment. We had so much fun and the rain held off! We were elated with how they turned out. Here’s a few of our favourites to share with you all. Enjoy!
