Brides of Culture Wedding Exhibition

Well hello there my lovely followers.

I spent last Saturday, with groom in tow, visiting the Brides of Culture wedding exhibition at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the London Docklands. What a lovely sunny day for it too I might add! Set alongside the calm riverside glistening in the sunshine, framed with a handful of Saturday afternoon runners adorning the waterfront.

Already bustling with excited brides-to-be and grooms (yes grooms) when we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely team of ladies and big smiles and congratulations were shared all throughout the day. Just that one word “congratulations” can make me grin from ear to ear –  I sometimes forget being engaged is just one big celebratory phase!

Aside from getting inspiration from suppliers, it was also a nice chance for me to meet some of the network of supporters I have met through twitter, face-to-face for the very first time, so that was a delight.

From bespoke wedding rings with Bello Creations, gorgeous make up by Beverley at Makeupology, ice cream delights with Pink Whistle Scoops , unique stag and hen experiences with Fairy Sten Mother to stunning gowns by Kosibah and elegant dresses by Simone Williams, showcased throughout the day by beautiful models.

If you missed the Exhibition, don’t worry, there will be another one scheduled in autumn this year. Stay tuned for updates and here are some highlights below –  hope you grab some inspiration for your own day! 🙂
