Introducing Mr Nu Bride | John Nassari Olympus Photography Workshop Mandarin Oriental

Dedicating this post to my talented Mr Nu Bride today.

See that awesome header image. My husband took that, yes he did!

Every now and then I like to let him loose to attend events for Nu Bride, especially events which require photography, as you can see he is far better at photography than me. BUT, don’t get it twisted, he still loves weddings as much as me. lol! We had the pleasure of being invited to join Nu Bride Ambassador, John Nassari at one of his Olympus photography workshops at the renowned Mandarin Oriental, to showcase the award-winning OM-D range. Slightly jealous I couldn’t go myself of course, especially when Mr Nu Bride started sending me images of delicious food! (Mandarin Oriental always put on a delicious spread!)

As an editor I get to see a lot of imagery.

I get a lot of submissions,  some featuring excellent photography, some great,  some average and some poor. When I first saw David’s images from John’s workshop, I was so proud. Not because I was surprised, because I’ve seen his work before and am often his muse (lol). But these images were simply gorgeous. They surpass the quality of many of the submissions I get on a regular basis. Yet, somehow, he doesn’t feel he is good enough!

Mr Nu Bride came back buzzing after spending time with John. Full of ideas and inspiration about how to approach photography and to up his game. It’s a delight to see.

Anyway, I wanted to show him off to you, because I am pretty proud of his talent.

John is a visionary. He is a master at photography. He is patient and encouraging. It was great to learn from him and Isabel, our model, was an absolute dream to shoot. I felt inspired after workshop, I got  to work with a fantastic Olympus kit and got taught by a great Ambassador. David AKA: Mr Nu Bride

Thank you John Nassari for sharing your talent. You are not only a wonderful artist, but clearly a remarkable teacher. PLUS with flowers by NB Flowers, beautiful gowns by designer Lucia of The State of Grace who was on hand to elegantly style the stunning Isabel Besque . Along with the legendary 2015 Nu Bride Ambassador Errol Douglas on hair, Kylie McMichael on make up and with the stunning 5 strar backdrop of Knightsbridge treasure the Mandarin Oriental, you’re bound to create magic. Dream team!

Here’s some of David’s favourite shots from the workshop fresh off the camera. (Of course now he wants to buy a new camera. Sigh. John, what have you done lol!)
