Disney Princesses Redefined as Brides Featured on Huffington Post

Not many Indian / Asian women get to do this kind of thing. Also when they do use Indian models, they normally have really light skin and they don’t normally use models with darker coloured skin so [this shoot] subverts those ideas and concepts of beauty and it is very empowering.  Sabbi, Rapunzel

Absolutely delighted to have another feature on Huffington Post, especially one that showcase this epic Disney inspired shoot  redefining brides as well-known princess icons with a modern diverse twist.

You can hop over to the article to see our gorgeous re-take on Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty!

The shoot was inspired by an earlier post on Nu Bride and is the brain child of Viva La Wedding and it is great to see this incredible shoot given a platform as brilliant as large as Huffington post.

This is what happens when a phenomenal team of collaborators all come together to create something that acknowledges and helps to shift some of the imbalance with the way the mainstream industry markets bridal beauty.

Please hop on over to see the feature on Huffington Post. Please show your support and comment on the article and our gorgeous real brides!
