Oh what a gorgeous cultural, fusion wedding I have to share with you today.
The beautiful Danielle of Indian-Polish and handsome Joseph of Argentinian-Indian heritage! I adore their chic wedding fashion choices and their equally fashion conscious wedding party.
Danielle and Joseph married in July last year and to honour their Jewish faith; exchanged vows at the Lauderdale Road Synagogue followed by a reception & Marriott Grosvenor Square and oh, boy, look out for the epic dancing!
I met photographer, Blake Ezra last year in his Hertfordshire studio and was seduced by the quality of his photography instantly and knew I’d want to share some of his work with you.
He passionately and fondly refers to Danielle and Joseph as the ‘famous comedy duo’. It’s evident in the images that Blake adored shooting Danielle and Joseph’s wedding. He recalls with a joyful smile on his face, that he was shooting their big day from 8am until 2am – (Wowzers! Now that is stamina! I was in bed by 11:30pm at my wedding I was, knackered! LOL!) Blake even got a sneaky few shots in their hotel bedroom too! Wow! So stylish and extra marks for Joseph’s Nu Bride red socks.
Bride Danielle, looks beautiful in her classic, uncomplicated but chic Augusta Jones dress from Morgan Davies. Worn with dainty Rachel Simpson shoes (not to mention the obligatory personalised sneakers for the anticipated stint of ‘burn the dance floor’ which clearly ensued). With her super stylish and ridiculously cool husband wearing Dolce & Gabbana, & Moss Bross. Not shy of taking the microphone, it was great to see another bride making a wedding day speech in addition to her groom, which Blake describes as being so heartfelt and breathlessly hysterical.
With a dash of Frank Sinatra, to Joseph serenading Danielle, to a whole heap of dancing, the energy from these pictures is palpable. From the beautiful warm joyful faces of family and friends to the tenderness and laughter Danielle and Joseph share.
Blake Ezra has an incredibly eclectic portfolio and captures the essence of Danielle and Joseph perfectly, so it’s a pleasure to debut his work on Nu Bride today.
Ps. look out for the gorgeous falling roses!
This wasn’t just an impromptu swim. This ritual is part of a Jewish wedding tradition called a Mikveh which is thought to purify the groom on the morning of his wedding day, symbolising a new beginning as he embarks on married life.
Congratulations Joseph and Danielle – such a pleasure being able to share your wedding day!
