Oooh I have a stylish and colourful London city wedding, with a French twist to share with you today from the beautifully talented Cecelina Photography
I instantly fell in love with, ‘Ian Stuart’ Bride; Cindy and ‘King & Allen’ Groom; Gerald (both of French Caribbean heritage), from the moment I read their romantic proposal story.
I asked them what their favourite part of their wedding day was, to which they replied with passion: “We were both in the middle of the dance-floor, with our friends and family dancing, having fun. Our eyes met and we both said “Finally, this is over”
Honouring their culture, Cindy and Gerald quite appropriately tied the knot in the beautiful Notre Dame de France Church in Leicester Square, followed by an elegant and regal reception at The Honorable Artillery Company.
Read on to be utterly inspired and captivated by their day.
The shoes are Jenny Packham
We were in Sardinia for our summer holidays, which coincided with my birthday. We try to always be abroad for that day. Gerald booked a fancy gastronomic restaurant, which happened to be empty when we got there. I should have known something was up when he mentioned which dress he wanted me to wear for my birthday, (he usually couldn’t care less).
Our flowers were by Geoffrey Walker
I did my own make up. My hairstyle in dreads, was styled by a friend.
Adore this shot!
Gerald’s suit was custom made King & Allen Bespoke Tailoring, and Oliver Sweeney shoes
Let’s hear it for the girls! Gorgeous!
The shoes were from New Look
The groomsmen also wore stylish custom made suits by King & Allen Bespoke Tailoring.
Love the idea of bubbles for confetti! Great idea for venues where Confetti is not allowed!
Loving these table names Cindy and Gerald! Lovely idea
Our wedding cake was from Mark and Spencer Wedding Department
Another gorgeous idea to keep the kiddies entertained!
Our Invitations were custom made by French Designer Véronique Deshayes with her “Sachet de thé” design.
The favourite moment of our wedding day?
The whole day was special and full of love but we both agree; the best moment was when we were both in the middle of the dance-floor, with our friends and family dancing, having fun. Our eyes met and we both said “Finally, this is over”
A wedding is a loooooong process/preparation and the relief that we felt at that moment, was priceless.
Our great photographer Cecelina actually caught that moment with two pictures that we ABSOLUTELY love.
Ah Cindy and Gerald. Just perfect. Wishing you the biggest of congratulations and thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day with us.
